Coffs Coast Paranormal Research | Paranormal Investigating

Coffs Coast Paranormal Research (CCPR) was founded in November 2015. It was born out of Jamie's love of all things paranormal. He was the lead investigator in the Penrith based Team - Nepean Paranormal Investigations. In December 2014 he moved up to the Coffs Harbour area. After 8 months of searching, he found that there was no paranormal team in the Coffs Harbour area, so he decided to start his own team. Along with former members (Rachael and Casey), Coffs Coast Paranormal Research was found. Kelli-Jo (who's an experienced photographer) came along 18 months later as the team's Photographer/Trainee Investigator and the team has grown from there. We are based just north of Coffs Harbour and investigate between Coffs Harbour and Grafton (and sometimes further afield).

CCPR is a fully insured not-for-profit team and do not charge for their investigations, however we will graciously accept donations. All investigations are done with the utmost care, respect and consideration. All locations are kept confidential and are only known to the team.

The current team members are:

Jamie - As Founder and Senior Lead Investigator, Jamie combines practical investigation skills with strong intuitive awareness. Through automatic writing and emotional sensing, Jamie is able to connect with subtle changes in energy and atmosphere, often identifying emotional patterns linked to reported activity. Jamie’s open communication style prioritises respect, safety, and clarity, ensuring investigations remain focused on genuine research rather than sensationalism.

Jason - As Co-Lead Investigator and Medium, Jason plays a central role in guiding the team’s spiritual and investigative approach. His background as a Reiki Master, Energy Healer, and Researcher allows him to assess energy patterns while maintaining strong analytical standards. Outside of team investigations, Jason provides private spiritual services such as cleansing, energy healing, and personal guidance, supporting individuals and families seeking balance and clarity.

Lesley - As Co-Lead Investigator and Location Researcher, Lesley plays a key role in developing the team’s case foundations through in-depth archival research and site analysis. Her background in intuitive divination and UAP research allows her to approach investigations from both analytical and perceptual perspectives. Through her work as a Content Creator, Lesley ensures investigations are documented accurately and shared responsibly with the wider community.

Paul - As Lead Investigator and Technical Expert, Paul oversees the team’s technical operations and evidence management. Known for his strong attention to detail, he specialises in detecting subtle anomalies within audio, visual, and environmental data. Paul’s analytical mindset strengthens the team’s ability to separate meaningful evidence from background interference.

Sarah - Sarah is an Investigator recognised for her ability to facilitate spirit communication through structured device use and guided questioning. Her calm presence and natural rhythm help sustain focused, uninterrupted sessions. Her contribution strengthens both evidence quality and investigative consistency.

Ivy - As an Investigator, Ivy brings intuitive awareness and energy-based experience to the team through her background in Reiki and crystal practices. Her ability to sometimes visually perceive spirit activity helps identify potential hotspot locations. Ivy’s composed and compassionate presence creates a supportive and respectful investigative environment.

We have a team member - Jason who can do house clensings if need be. Please understand that this is something he does separately from investigating so there will be a charge for this.

CCPR uses a range of equipment (digital cameras (both standard and full spectrum), audio recorders, video cameras (both standard and full spectrum), SB7 Spirit box, phonetic generators, K2 meters, etc) to conduct it's investigations. All equipment used is handheld and does not use any external power.

CCPR occasionally runs investigations where people can come out with us (after making a small donation) to see what it's like to investigate.
